I've been giving presentations on technical topics in one form or another for as long as I can remember: to co-workers at a company, to groups at companies that request me, or now, independently to groups that voluntarily show up :-). While all of this started out with casual presentations, things have only been getting more formal. I have two scheduled presentations that fit this category, and one that still doesn't have a date set.
On Tuesday, February 27th at 6:00PM, I'll be presenting, "On Logs" to the Tri-State (NY, NJ and CT) chapter of the Apple Consultants Network. The topic will be a technical dissection of what log files are, how to interpret them, using them for troubleshooting, and monitoring and maintaining them. The presentation will take place at Apple's Market Center location in Mid-town Manhattan. This is a members only event.
On Friday, March 9th, I'll be presenting Daylite to the Long Island Macintosh Users Group. The presentation will take place on the Campus of The New York Institute of Technology at 7:30PM. I'm guessing you could join LIMac on the spot, if you were really interested.
If you're attending either of these events, please say hello, and I'll see you there!
