January MacTech is out

The first issue of 2006 is out, and it's better than ever!

I have a little time on my hands while waiting to get into the MacWorld Keynote.  I realize that I've failed to mention the arrival of the last few issues of MacTech.  However, I'm really excited about this one.  It's a great issue, plus, the publisher has told me a little inside info that is going to make this a great year for MacTech overall.

This month features articles about the Intel transition, creating grid and cluster computers using OS X and a very timely article about adding AJAX into a web site.  My Mac In The Shell column focuses on similarities and differences between Apple's OS X Unix, and 'standard' Unix.

While I can't give details about any deals until they're fully announced, I do predict this to be the year of MacTech!  So, if you don't already, go subscribe!

Wishing you a Happy New Year!
