October MacTech

The latest MacTech is out, and it has some great material. Tim Monroe, who is an Apple employee on the QuickTime team brings us a great column on accessing QuickTime's metadata. Paul Ammon has an article on Bluetooth that is worth it just for high-level overview, even if you're not a programmer. All this and Ben Waldie's Apple Script column, plus Dean Shavit's follow-up on LDAP in OS X. My Mac in The Shell gets back to the basics of bash, and delves into bash's control structures. Completely worth it for any one who is a Mac tech. Go find it, or subscribe.
