Safari 2.0.1: Will it finally live up to its potential?

I usually don't report news here that you see on every other tech-related site, however, Apple has just released Safari 2.0.1, just as I 'permanently' dumped it for Firefox. See, I'm not ready to get rid of OS X altogether, but Safari bugs me. Kind of like Apple mail. Any PC-clients reading this, you know: I already have you running Firefox. But why do this on the Mac, with its beautiful, built-in Safari? Because Safari just gets goofy sometimes. Pegging the CPU, quitting, letting me close 15 open tabs with no warning by default, s-l-o-w spinning beach-ball for no great reason...sigh.

The update purports to, "improve[s] website compatibility, application stability and support for 3rd party web applications." OK Safari, one more try. Fool me once...
