The End of Formal Consulting

While I've mentioned this verbally to people that I know, face to face, over the phone and in e-mail, I haven't really set a stake in the ground: I've shut down the formal consulting part of my life. I've been wrapping things up since the beginning of this year and transitioning things to others as much as possible.

It would be wrong to say that I'm shutting down "Radiotope," as it existed before I was formally consulting, and will continue on now.

MacWorld 2008 Session Slides Posted

At a session, people always ask if I'm going to be posting the slides. While I always do, I have long said that slides without the talk are typically of little use. Apparently, this year, all sessions but the "Power User" sessions will be available for download - slides and audio - for free! Exciting!

If, however, you just can't wait, I have both of my session slides available here:

LI222: Learning the Terminal ("Basic Foundation in Command-line Skills as it Relates to OS X")

Radiotope Tapped for Sacred Heart Support

Radiotope has been selected to provide overall guidance and technology support for The Convent of the Sacred Heart private school in Manhattan.

We will be working with the current IT staff to evaluate the technology plan, select equipment for a new VoIP network, and evaluate the current network infrastructure. This will draw on most of our services and disciplines.

We're looking forward to working with such an excellent institution!
